Wallet-First
Why KORAMP has no users table, and how a wallet address becomes the customer identity.
No Users Table
KORAMP has no users table for customers. A wallet address is the identity. Every order is tied to a combination of walletAddress and network.
Design Consequences
- No registration flow, no customer login, no passwords.
- Users keep their private keys.
- No custody of user funds.
- Order history is traceable through the wallet address.
Proof of Ownership
To prove wallet ownership, KORAMP uses a challenge mechanism:
- Challenge: the user requests a nonce and message to sign.
- Verify: the user submits the signature, which the server verifies.
- Single-use: the challenge is valid once and has an expiry.
The challenge is used for reward claims and support, not for account login.
Identity in the Public Ledger
In the public ledger, wallet addresses are masked into a form like 0x1234...abcd. There's no direct link from the raw address to personal identity in the public presentation.
