How to Top Up (Buy Crypto)
Step-by-step guide for buying crypto with Rupiah on KORAMP.
How to Top Up on KORAMP
Top Up lets you buy crypto using Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) through MoonPay — KORAMP's primary payment gateway. No account required — just connect your wallet. MoonPay handles KYC and identity verification as the merchant of record.
Steps
1. Open KORAMP
Go to koramp.xyz/topup-sell. Make sure you are in Top Up mode (not Sell).
2. Connect Your Wallet
Click Connect Wallet and choose your wallet:
- Solana: Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, or any compatible Solana wallet.
- EVM (Base / BNB Chain): MetaMask, Rabby, or any WalletConnect-compatible wallet.
KORAMP never asks for your private key or seed phrase.
3. Select the Asset to Buy
Choose one of the supported assets:
- SOL — on Solana Mainnet
- ETH — on Base Mainnet
- BNB — on BNB Smart Chain Mainnet
4. Enter the IDR Amount
Type the amount of Rupiah you want to pay. You'll see an estimate of the crypto you'll receive along with a fee breakdown:
- Spread — difference from the market price
- Service fee — KORAMP platform fee
- Network fee — gas / blockchain transaction cost
- Tax — as applicable
5. Lock the Quote
Once confirmed, the quote is locked — the price will not change during your session.
Price locked
The price shown at quote creation is the final price you pay. KORAMP does not change the price unilaterally after confirmation.
6. Pay via MoonPay
The MoonPay widget will open automatically. First-time users will be prompted for a quick KYC (identity verification). Once verified, select your payment method — credit/debit card, bank transfer, or other methods available in your region.
MoonPay KYC
KYC is only required once for new users. After verification, subsequent transactions are faster. MoonPay acts as the merchant of record — KORAMP does not store your payment data.
7. Receive Crypto in Your Wallet
Once your QRIS payment is confirmed, crypto is automatically sent to your connected wallet address. Delivery typically takes a few minutes depending on network conditions.
Tips & Notes
- Make sure your wallet is connected to the correct network before starting.
- For SOL: if the recipient wallet doesn't yet have an Associated Token Account (ATA), an ATA creation fee is automatically deducted from the SOL output.
- KORAMP operates 24/7 — you can Top Up any time.
