Compliance
KORAMP's KYC-less wallet-first compliance model: what's visible on-chain vs off-chain, and the audit trail.
KYC-less Wallet-First Model
KORAMP operates without customer accounts and without KYC. A wallet address is the customer identity. This changes the shape of compliance compared to a hosted-account exchange.
What Is Visible
| Data | Public on-chain | Visible to KORAMP |
|---|---|---|
| User wallet address | Yes | Yes |
| Platform wallet address | Yes | Yes |
| Asset and amount of transfers between KORAMP and the user | Yes | Yes |
| Sender and recipient of the user's other private transfers | Yes | Yes |
| Asset and amount of the user's other transfers | Yes | Only if the user shares a view key (not applicable — public chain) |
| User's private balances | Yes (public chain) | Yes (public chain) |
Because KORAMP uses public on-chain transfers (not encrypted balances), sender, receiver, and amount are visible to anyone reading the blockchain. KORAMP does not offer private/encrypted transfers.
Audit Trail
Every significant event is recorded:
- AuditLog — important actions with actor and metadata.
- LedgerEntry — double-entry records (CREDIT/DEBIT) per wallet and asset.
- XenditWebhook — idempotent webhook records keyed on kind, event, and IDs.
Limits and Abuse Prevention
- Progressive IP bans for abuse patterns.
- Redis-backed rate limiting.
- Security events aggregated per hour bucket (deduplicated, bounded).
